Rian Uys: "After a big decision to move from a large old home to a small eco home we searched for an architect who could not only share our passion for green , off grid living but also help with the task of taking a very small and challenging site and creating a creative, practical and joyful space for our family of 4. Cornell not only fulfilled our brief but added lots of valuable inputs on how to maximize our property space , I am still amazed at how he fitted everything onto the site. We have now been living in the house for 5 years and the level of clever design only gets highlighted every season when we have warmth and sunshine in our home during winter, and enjoy cool evenings in summer. With the current water and electricity crisis we are constantly reminder how our off grid eco home truly adds value to our lives."

With each project, Cornell spent a lot of time trying to understand what we wanted, in order to deliver a product which was direclty in line with what we had hoped for. He is highly professional, extremely talented and very dedicated, often going over-and-above the call of duty. Cornell is a stickler for detail and is never happy with ‘average’.
