About Cornell

Cornell van der Westhuizen achieved his Bachelors of Architecture at Pretoria University, is a member of the South African Institute of Architects and is registered with the South African Council of Architects.

Cornell worked in Germany for three years, gaining unfathomable experience in European urban, architectural and technical design. The profession as architect in Germany also entails the responsibilities and activities of the Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager.

'CC Architects'  was established in February 1995. 'CC Architects' is dedicated to 'building' very personalised architecture.

It is Cornell's intention to establish a language of architecture that is  dynamic, sensitive and practical in response to the financial, pragmatic and cultural needs of the client, reacting to the very specific nature of the micro-climatic conditions and landscape structures.

 Some projects have been published in the local magazines i.e. Garden & Home, Home Owner, De Kat, Complete Home Solutions & Sarie.
